I have always loved glass in all its forms.  My first glass works were stained glass panels.  About ten years ago I switched to working in fused glass, which requires a kiln to fuse and shape the glass work. I love creating “in depth” or 3-D objects in glass. Some of these are meant to be functional, but most are intended primarily to be visually interesting, and to brighten someone’s space.

Glass+Heat=unlimited creative possibilities. I choose to work in glass fusing, which uses a kiln to apply heat to glass, first to meld two or more pieces into one, and then to shape that piece by ”slumping” into a mold. I learn more about glass and its characteristics and possibilities with each project I complete.

Glass is beautiful and versatile. I have been working in fused glass for about 15 years.
