A Story of Success... |
In 1952, the Arc of Washington County was established by a group of parents who wanted to create a better future for their children, each diagnosed with a developmental or intellectual disability. Since then, the disability industry and our community have changed. In an effort to meet the needs of our clients, Arc of Washington County restructured its services, and currently operates as a parent corporation and
two non-profit subsidiaries.
AAdvantage, Inc. serves as a parent organization to provide administrative services to the Arc of Washington County and Arc Human Services, allowing them to share resources and distribute the cost of various programs without losing their public identity. By tapping into shared assets, each organization has the opportunity to work together, offering assistance to individuals who once may have been refused due to limitations.
